Three weeks ago we were relaxing at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood and these mountains were visible from the southern lodge windows. During our return flight, they appeared again outside the airplane window. Part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, these volcanic peaks will not remain dormant, but are highly likely to erupt again sometime in the distant future. In the meantime they add a feeling of a magical Neverland whether viewed from above or from below, and I think I may have spotted Tinker Bell…
