Monsoon Moon
Yesterday the waning gibbous moon glanced briefly through the stormy clouds of a stationary front. It brought hopes for rain that was so needed and has been so elusive. Today, thunder and lightning preceded the dawn; it’s wet outside with more rain on its way, finally. #moon #stormclouds #rain

Coveted Comet Puzzle
We finally completed the amazing Magic Puzzle Company’s “The Coveted Comet” puzzle, where up is down, and upside down is right side up. Curiously-shaped pieces, that fit together well, portrayed various fantastical scenes and humanoid creatures doing God knows what. Beak Tree
It was a funny sight, a brown and tan fungus growing from the side of an old oak tree that almost looked like a duck’s bill. However, since it is a sign of impending doom to the tree, perhaps its humorous appearance is not all that it is quacked up to be. #oaktree #fungus #duckbill
