There was plenty of room all around, just not right here. These three mushrooms look like a failed stack of pancakes since they all popped up in nearly the same place. I can’t help wondering if they came from the same organism, of if they are three different fungi, all battling for the same territory. Maybe they just couldn’t make up their minds since they don’t have any.
