Uneasy Rider

Lizard on the back window.

I glanced at the rearview mirror while backing out of the garage and discovered this lizard clinging to the back window. Perhaps it was lucky to be aboard for it was a ticket out of the garage where it likely would either starve or dehydrate into a mummified corpse. On the other hand, it was on a moving vehicle that could take it to who knows where, and it quickly scampered out of view.

On arrival at the local store, the hitchiker was nowhere to be found. It probably jumped off in the driveway or maybe it found a place of shelter in the crevices around the trunk. At any rate it should have quite a tale to tell its children, grandchildren, and so on.
