While stocking up at the grocery store early on the day before Thanksgiving, we noticed this lot full of ibises with others swooping down from the sky. Even more followed after this photo was taken. What the attraction for them was, I don’t really know, but unlike us, I doubt they were there to beat the rush of the day-before-Thanksgiving grocery shoppers.
