Say What?

In grade school I once read a story about a man who invented a dishwasher that would start and stop to verbal commands. Unfortunately, it was too rough on the dishes, and it was a bit dyslexic and wouldn’t stop until someone accidentally shouted “pots” instead of “stop.” He and his wife were left to clean up after the misadventure.

That got me thinking of various words with letter combinations that could be rearranged to spell other words. A few four letter combinations can spell out many different words as seen in the “shopped” photos above. Sometimes on a long drive, mentally rearranging letters on signs into new words can be entertaining as long as I remember to actually stop when I see a stop sign, rather than trying to rearrange its letters.
