Cedar Key residents have interesting ways of displaying their affection for the local, non-human citizens. One resident created this sculpture of a white pelican standing atop a faux pier piling and sporting a green fish that it has yet to devour. It was an eye-catching tribute that seemed pleasing to all except, perhaps to the fish. I just had to call it, “Metalican.”
