Chicks Hunting and Pecking for Food

Well, they don’t really cluck yet, but they do peep a lot as they scratch and peck the ground in search of food. Quickly, however, they’ll grow up in to adult hens to become layer chickens instead of the other kind. That means they should be clucking, scratching and pecking for sometime to come as long as the hawks, owls, and coyotes are kept at bay.
