Fragile Fingers of Frangipani

Frangipani (aka Plumeria) Buds

They have survived the winter without freezing and continue to reach upwards towards the life-giving, spring sun. In winters past, such delicate buds have frozen and fallen off, not to be regenerated until late in the summer season. The likelihood of freeze now appears to be well past, and the fingers of flower buds on this stem may soon grow into beautiful, fragrant, plumeria blossoms. I can hardly wait!
