I just had to stop to get a video of this caterpillar crossing the street. Exactly why it was crossing the street I don’t know; it was too busy for an interview though it certainly was entertaining. It looks like one of the “geometrid” caterpillars that could turn into a rather large and ornate moth, provided it doesn’t get eaten or squashed first. Good luck, “little bug.”
