Yesterday morning the chrysalises were green with shiny yellow beads across the top. Yesterday afternoon each chrysalis became dark, then transparent, and a short time later these marvelous monarch emerged leaving the clear chrysalis remnants behind. Not long after, they took to flight to eventually breed and lay eggs and continue the marvelous cycle of life.
