If a tree falls on a roof and there is no one home to hear it, does it make a sound? Well, never mind, but I know what sort of sound I might be making if this had been my house. The beauty of a tree is obvious but the ugly truth is that eventually they all come down, sometimes a branch at a time and sometimes all at once.
The tropical storm season is upon us, and it rained heavily the night before which likely caused this tree fall. Doubtless, there will be more branches and trees coming down in the next few months, hopefully with limited property damage. We prepare as best we can and have trees and branches removed that threaten to fall on our house, but they do keep growing more. Such is life in our neck of the woods.
