What Goes Up…

Must Come Down

There was a hot time in the old town on Fourth of July night. Heavy rains ceased just in time for the fiery revelry to commence. We remained indoors during the flashy commotion, and I am glad that we did. The next morning we found the remains of fired works that had landed in our driveway. Further debris trails in the street confirmed that it came from where it appeared to in the first photo. No harm was done and there was little risk of fires since everything had been thoroughly drenched earlier in the day. We were just happy to have remained out of harm’s way.
