The autogyro has to be the closest thing to a flying motorcycle that there is. It has a cockpit on a frame suspended beneath rotor blades, and it is powered by an engine and propeller in back. The engine pushes the the craft forward, but unlike a helicopter the rotor spins freely, driven only by its motion through the air. To me it sounds like riding on a broomstick with a seat and a harness. I bet someone could see so much while in the air that they’d be scared to death!
