Along a two-lane highway that courses through the fields and forests of central Florida, an amazing restaurant is humbly located next to a Quick King. It could be easily overlooked, like a great book with a drab cover, and that would be sad, for it offers an excellent Italian cuisine in a very pleasant setting.
The owner, “Big Bob,” is truly a tall man, but his given name isn’t Bob. He was dubbed “Big Bob” by his grandchild when they were trying to get him to say “grandpa.” The name stuck and why should it not? Just another pleasant surprise from this unassuming, but fascinating place.
