Both the Moon and Venus graced the evening sky Sunday evening, and through a telescope Venus appeared as a thin crescent just like the Moon, only thinner. This is the last time that they will both be seen in the evening sky together this year. By March 22, Venus will be aligned with the Sun and no longer be visible in the evening sky. If you get a chance, catch a glimpse of it through binoculars or a small telescope, to see the amazingly thin crescent of Venus.
