Gift from the Heart

Broken ceramic shards came together again to form an artistic steppingstone made for us by a friend we have cherished for half a century. It brought back memories of warm days together in southern California, cool, crisp mornings in British Columbia, of the Akolkolex River, and picking huckleberries in the Selkirk Mountains. No foot shall ever be placed on this steppingstone, for it is a work of art bearing memories from the heart.
