I was walking in the hallway when I found that the sun had pitched a figure of home plate onto the floor. Spring training is under way, and I’m ready to play. Send the ball in high and tight and it’s going to the outfield; low and away, maybe not. Fortunately, my wife has the good sense to not let me near a window with a bat!
