The queue to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction wound back and forth past exotic decorations to set the imagination astir. However, in one corner, a growth of actual bamboo plants added a feeling of the tropics to the set. The ride itself blended history and fantasy with living touches of reality, that made the mind wonder: Might something like this have actually happened?
