Rain’s Return

Welcome Rain

It has been a dry year so far, and when sprinkles fell recently, we hoped that they would prime the pump to get the rain machine running again. The sprinkles turned to showers and then into a downpour, and we got nearly an inch of rain in a short time. The next day more showers appeared, though not as heavy.

We are about to enter the rainy part of the year as the last dry, cool fronts are pushed back by warming subtropical weather patterns. The hurricane season will soon begin with its warm, moist weather, and we will hope for rain without the ‘canes.
