I had to do a doubletake when I looked out the window recently. The strangest looking antenna I had ever seen was on the top of the neighbor’s pickup. I blinked and looked again to discover that the illusion was from a wren perched on the antenna. Mission accomplished, it soon darted away leaving me a little bewildered. What the heck, most of the broadcast programs really are “for the birds” anyway.
