Acorns have started dropping from the trees, the sun is getting lower in the sky, and the days are noticeably shorter. The summer constellations are headed towards the sunset while the autumn constellations rise in the west at dusk. The calendar may think it is still summer for three more weeks, but the sky and the acorns declare that fall is here.
