Light in the Dark

Orion in the Morning Sky

We arose early one morning to complete our walk prior to scheduled appointments. At the beginning, Orion blazed brightly in the darkness, but as night faded into the predawn twilight, the constellation seemed to gradually dim against the brightening sky. It brought to mind the old saying that the the stars are the brightest when the sky is the darkest, which shines true literally as well as figuratively.

  1. The night sky with no light pollution is truly amazing.  When we go to my brother’s cabin in The Blue’s we always hope for clear skies because we’re in for God’s creation in all its glory!  Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G, an AT&T 5G smartphone
