Better than Average

Plumeria Buds and Blooms

Last winter all of our plumeria were frozen back to the ground, except for one that was in a pot and could be moved out of harm’s way. That one has been producing beautiful flowers as seen on the right image for the past few months.

I did not expect blooms from any of the other plants this year, though they had grown anew from the ground up. However, to my delight, one of them now has flower buds developing as seen in the left photo. In a few weeks they will mature into flowers, provided that the cold weather holds off. What are their chances? Better than average, I think.
