A rarely seen feathered friend greeted us during a recent morning walk. While we frequently hear the owls, sometimes a year or more will pass between sightings. I wondered why this one was up so “late” since nighttime is their active time. Perhaps it was just one of those “day owls” who like staying up past normal bedtime, unlike people at The Villages just south of here.
