Science and Magic

Morning Mist

The morning sun’s rays vaporized water that had condensed on the cold roof during the night. The water vaper rapidly recondensed to form mist just above the roof in the cold, morning air, then dissipated while being stirred by the gentle air currents. It was simple science.

However, there was also magic and beauty in the shimmering mist dancing over the rooftops that captured the eye, heart, and mind, and carried the imagination beyond the realm of science.
