Upon seeing this spiny creature creeping over the pavement, an old joke regarding “Jeopardy for Idiots” came to mind. According to the story, a contestant who had been asked the color of the White House answered, “Green.”
The host replied, “I’m sorry sir, your answer must be in the form of a question.”
The contestant then answered, “Gre-e-e-e-n?”
As it wiggled along on its merry way, it dawned on me that I could probably find out what kind of caterpillar its by searching the internet. I considered it for a moment, but decided that just “Green” was good enough for me.
