Drop-ins Not Welcome

Tree Fall in Neighborhood

It didn’t seem like that big a storm. There was a little wind and less than a quarter inch of rain, but it toppled this tree in a neighbor’s yard. Its roots were compromised by the proximity of two other trees clustered next to it. Fortunately, no people or autos were present when it crashed down and it left minimal damage, but still it is expensive to have such large trees removed.

We have witnessed a treefall in the past, and the snap, crackle, pop, and crash were so loud, that there certainly would have been sound even if there hadn’t been any ears around to hear it! Sorry, philosophers…
