Monday All Over
Though I am retired, I still remember how Mondays always came around like “droppings from heaven.”
Fairy Dust
This time of year the light works special magic on items in the house that just beckon the presence of the Fairies.
Somebody Call A Doctor
My wife, Fairy, bought me the porcelain doctor-in-distress for a graduation present from medical school. She said that she would keep me until I looked that good. I am getting there, and I guess if she buyes me a bowler hat, I might be in trouble… The photo on the right is from a cemetaryContinue reading “Somebody Call A Doctor”
A Penny…
While at Disney’s Epcot Center a few years ago I took this photo near the China pavillion. Someone had tossed a penny into the pond only to have it land in the wet center of a waterlilly. I hope they got their wish, and may your wishes come true as well today.

Round trip was a 3.5 miles with a 948 foot elevation change through rugged jungle terrain. The final pitch was very steep, requiring careful steps to avoid a nasty tumbleContinue reading “Still Want to Walk A Mile In My Shoes?”
The Old Aviator
I believe this photo was taken in the 1930’s near Lexington, Nebraska. It is an Arrow Sport biplane made in Nebraska in the 1920’s and 1030’s and had a 60 horsepower LeBlond engine. The cockpit seated two side-by-side and with such low power, dad described it as a “ground lover.” He avoid flying it withContinue reading “The Old Aviator”
