Butter Better Fly

While getting the house shuttered today, I chanced across this butterfly flitting about the flowers. It seemed calm and serene as it helped itself to the blossoms. I hope it stays that way for a while, and when the time comes, I hope it finds safe shelter to ride out the weather. #butterfly #storm #flowers

Magical Moment

I don’t believe that I have ever seen a butterfly land on the plumeria before, and I just happened to have my cell phone with its camera to capture the moment. Yesterday morning the chrysalises were green with shiny yellow beads across the top. Survivor

This butterfly fluttered by the pool cage, then landed on the tea olive bush just outside. It had endured the brunt of the storm, little the worse for the wear, surviving by means unknown. A Butterfly Flew By

While I was tending to the yard a large, yellow butterfly flew by and landed on a nearby bush. It brightened my day and obligingly allowed its photo to be taken before it flip-fapped away on its merry meanderings.
