Hurricane Debby is passing northwest of us and dropping torrents of rain and since yesterday afternoon has filled our rain gauge at 5 inches. How much more we got, I really don’t know. Unlevel Sea
Combine high tide with southwesterly winds gusting to 30 mph pushing gulf waters through Longboat Pass, and the local, low-lying barrier islands occasionally end up temporarily below the level of the sea.
