The Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway passes on the edge of our neighborhood and provides a wonderful setting for walking. We frequently see deer, turkeys, quail, an occasional coyote, and even bobcat and bear tracks. The photos above were taken yesterday on our hike when we also saw the spider weaving its web that was posted on this blog. The top left and center photos show portions of old Florida woods and the upper left was a colorful meeting of minds of the bug kind. The lower photo is of a part I call the cathedral since arching branches of the trees form a canopy over a relatively clear patch of ground.

You’ll have to take us on a walk through your forest when we come back to visit. You’re pictures were the perfect lead in to a fun Robin Hood and Little John song.
