As I mentioned in an earlier post, Toubo, a white German Shepherd, was my favorite dog and through him I learned a difficult life lession on one cold Thanksgiving Day in Nebraska. Through the years I have never forgotten him or that day, and though tragic, the lessons learned have helped sustain me in other difficult times, and Thanksgiving is and will always be my favorite holiday.

The sweet memories of your Toubo definitely outweighed the sadness of his loss. Wonderful story Howard.
