Well, this gift from family made quite a ”splash.” It came just in time for the new year. It has been special to us since we first tasted in in Maui several years ago. We were touring the Maui upcountry on the flanks of Haleakala and were delighted by the winery that produced this wine. We visited it several times over the years and always left with a case of the Maui Splash pineapple wine, but then it changed hands and for a time we could no longer get the wine. We had at times been able to purchase it from a regional wine store, but even that supply dried up.
Imagine our surprise and delight when this case ended up on our doorstep, a special taste of a happy past. It came during the festivities and will help us celebrate well into the new year.
