While in Wisconsin we saw many wild turkeys as well as deer and other wildlife along roads in the woodlands. Back home, while walking in our wooded neighborhood, we were treated again to a view of a turkey hen, with six of her young, traipsing and grazing their way across a lawn while keeping an eye on us. They seemed only mildly wary and soon we all continued on our merry ways.
