The Big and the Small of It

Big Box, Little Package

A great big box arrived yesterday looking very heavy, so heavy in fact, that I nearly threw it to the ceiling when I tried to pick it up. No, it was very light, a huge box with a lot of very light paper packing. Since I knew that the packing was not what I had in fact ordered, I figured there must be something else in there somewhere. Packaging flew every direction as I sought the desired treasure buried somewhere within the bowels of the box.

Finally a small packet with some ribbon for a label machine appeared. Yes, I did remember ordering that, and about 10 minutes more searching through the “stuffin’s” convinced me that I had not missed anything else of importance. I was a little disappointed, however. If the box had been just a little bigger, they could have included a pony. Now wouldn’t that have been a nice surprise?
