Banjolele Bear

Teddy and Banjolele

It looks and sounds like a banjo, but has four strings and plays like a ukulele. It was a gift from a patient a few years ago since I kept a ukulele in my office and often played for them after the visit was concluded. The banjolele is probably around 90 years old and had been restored by one of their friends.

I got the bear in Frontierland in California’s Disneyland several decades ago as a gift for my wife. Pairing the banjolele with the bear brings back a host of happy memories for the holiday season.

This blog will be a forum to share experiences with family and friends.
