Bloomin’ Trees

Prolific Pollinators in Full Bloom

The light green and golden hues of the oak trees shed more than just colorful light. Pollen is also raining down from these trees that are in full spring bloom. Yellow powder coats the walks, decks, and cars that are outside, and also indiscriminately drifts about to disturb the linings of our eyes and sinuses. An infinitesimal percentage of the pollen grains will fertilize the trees’ flowers to eventually produce the acorns that bonk us on the heads in the autumn. The rest will just hang around for a time to torment us creatures below like annoying pubescent teenagers with nothing better to do.
