Wow! Look at this active sun with all of its prominences, filaments, spots, and flares. I could go on and on, but wait! Look at the two spots just above center of the photo and also the long, curved filament to the lower right of center. It almost looks like Charlie Brown, only with a cockeyed smile on his face!
Could our favorite lonesome looser have finally found something to smile about? Maybe he finally kicked that football that Lucy kept pulling away at the last minute. Whatever the reason, enjoy the moment, my friend. Charlie be happy!
