Waxing Crescent Moon Shortly After Rising in the East
Shy and unassuming, the crescent moon had just risen above the trees. It was caressed by cirrus clouds that heralded an approaching cold front that would darken the skies the following day. In the meantime, the moon slowly crossed the daytime sky and hours later cast a glorious glow in the evening twilight ahead of the storm.
