Of Lizards and Birds

This mockingbird likes lizards, but not in the way that the lizard would like to be liked. Unfortunately for the lizard, nearly every creature larger than it would rather eat it than be its friend. I watched the showdown out my back window for several minutes, and the lizard made a very respectable stand against the bird. It ended, however, most unfortunately for the poor lizard.
