The night ends and a new day begins and with it a new, unexpected, journey. The old crescent Moon rises barely ahead of the Sun, soon to disappear from the morning sky and be reborn in the evening sky a few days later. Along with it ride memories of a close friend and relative recently departed but long to be remembered. A life that will be celebrated and greatly missed by those left behind, but resurrected in the mind’s eye as a joyful memory.

My wife Fairy and I travel frequently to the Pacific Islands of Hawaii, and French Polynesia, and I have learned several of their native-language songs.
This blog will be a forum to share experiences with family and friends.
