Farewell Polynesian Friends

Polynesian Heiva Dancers

Though our trip is about to end, their celebrations honoring their Polynesian heritage will continue for three more weeks. We have watched their dances and listened to their music, and I have sung and played ukulele along with local musicians during our stay. These kind people who prefer sharing and understanding over conflict have a special place in our hearts, and we feel that we have much to learn from them. Bora Bora E!

I have written multiple stories of life experiences, travel, and astronomy, and have been playing the ukulele for 10 years. My wife Fairy and I travel frequently to the Pacific Islands of Hawaii, and French Polynesia, and I have learned several of their native-language songs. This blog will be a forum to share experiences with family and friends.
