Baraboo and a Circus View

While few may have heard of Baraboo, Wisconsin, many have heard of the Ringling Brothers Circus which gave their first performance there and made it their winter headquarters from 1886 through 1918. It’s a beautiful location along the Baraboo River, but seems quite a chilly place to have kept their exotic animals and handlers. However, it brought fame and prosperity to the local economy for a time and continues to be a treasured legacy.
