Years ago, a young man looked to the skies at a rare sight, a flying machine. He was inspired to become a pilot and soloed in 1929. He continued to fly as a private pilot for the most of his life, raised a family of pilots, and built several airplanes including an EAA Biplane similar to the model above. The leather helmet belonged to him during his early flying days and still soars with the memories of his dreams of wings.

This blog will be a forum to share experiences with family and friends.
