The jelly in the other jars was delicious, but we didn’t try this one; someone or something else beat us to it. Apparently the lid hadn’t sealed properly, so life did its thing and expanded into the niche provided for it. Though to us the jelly was spoiled, to the mold it certainly was not rotten.
