Two large banana spiders in back yard had been living in unusually close proximity in their chaotic webs long enough for both to reach considerable size. I had never before seen two of them that size so close together and wondered if it could last.
Apparently not. One day I discovered the shriveled carcass of one of them being fed upon by the other. I know not exactly what transpired, but one became the winner and the other, dinner.
