We were about to enter the pool when we discovered this creature struggling to get out. It did try to frog-kick away from my hand when I came to the rescue, but it had little energy left after floating around for who knows how long. I found a nice shady spot in the back yard where it could rest and recuperate and admonished it for its own sake to stay out of the pool. I doubt it listened; they never do.
