Rain dropped steadily throughout the past couple of days, intensifying at times and diminishing at other times. More then five inches fell, but there were few puddles. The sandy soil eagerly slurped down the moisture which trickled deep it into the aquifer below the ground to refresh our water supply. So, in the end, in spite of the gray weather, all was well, especially for our well.
