It’s been three days now since we last saw them; no more gold is glittering around our backyard feeder. We knew the time would come for them to fly north for the summer to raise their offspring, but it is always sad to see them go. But that is nature’s way, and in late DecemberContinue reading “Bye Bye Birdie”

Wings with Dreams
Yesterday morning the chrysalises were green with shiny yellow beads across the top. Yesterday afternoon each chrysalis became dark, then transparent, and a short time later these marvelous monarch emerged leaving the clear chrysalis remnants behind. Galileo questioned whether that wasContinue reading “What’s the Question?”
Wayside Wonder
There has been plenty of rain this year which has produced a bumper crop of flowers. Purple pastels line many of the roads and will be followed by other flowery colors, providing a delightful distraction from daily duties. No fooling, even though it is April 1! #flowers #spring #roadside

It seemed to have a good reception, so each Saturday I will post another daily journal entry here as well. The trip began withContinue reading “Accidental Travel Blog”
